About Text Encryption

AES-GCM & AES-CBC: Industry-standard encryption algorithms using 256-bit keys derived from your password using PBKDF2 (100,000 iterations). Suitable for protecting sensitive data.

XOR Cipher: A simple bitwise operation. Easy to break and should only be used for learning purposes.

ROT13: A letter substitution cipher that shifts letters by 13 positions. Provides no security.

Caesar Cipher: Similar to ROT13 but with a custom shift amount. Easily breakable by brute force.

Note: All encryption and decryption happens locally in your browser. Your data never leaves your device.
